Professor of Flute at China Conservatory of Music
Zhaorong Chen currently serves as Professor of flute at the China Conservatory of Music. He is the first Chinese flutist received the Doctor of Musical Arts degree from mainland China in the USA. After he graduated from the University of Bridgeport, he continued his study and achieved a Master of Music degree from the Yale University.
As a flutiest, Chen has performed in the most remarkable concert halls, such as Carnegie Hall in New York, Woolsey Hall and Sprague Memorial Hall at Yale University, Musical Hall at the National Center for the Performing Arts.
During his pursuing his dream as a flutist in the USA, Chen took guidance from numerous flutists. Yale University’s renowned Ransom Wilson, American flute soloist, Robert Stallman, the Juilliard School’s flute professor Bradley Garner, the University of Washington’s flute professor Donna Shin and Zart Dombourian-Ebay, University of Bridgeport flute professor Barbara Siesel, and others.
Piano Teacher at Conducting Department of Chinese Conservatory of Music
Yue Li holds a Master of Music degree in Piano Performance from the Central Conservatory of Music and apprenticed under Professor Qifang Li. Since 2013, Li joined in the flute workshop named by Professor Tongde Zhu as a professional accompanist at Central Conservatory of Music.
