This event will feature Edward Kuperman '25, who will share his experience working in China as a member of the local media center in Dunhuang. The event will include a screening of a 20-minute documentary that Edward produced during his time in Dunhuang, followed by a discussion of his path to pursuing a career in China and how he navigated career decisions amid public controversy.
Drawing on personal experiences and perspectives on public perception, the discussion will explore broader themes including the spread of misinformation, soft power, and career opportunities for the expatriate community in China.
