    The Yale Whiffenpoofs

The Whiffenpoofs are the world’s most renowned and historic collegiate a cappella group, spearheading and innovating a cappella music since 1909. Founded over a hundred years ago, the Whiffenpoofs have been singing around the country and the world, delighting audiences with a wide variety of a cappella music.

In past years, the ‘Whiffs’ have sung for Presidents Obama, Bush, Clinton, and Reagan, and at venues including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and the Kennedy Center. They’ve even been featured on television shows such as "The Sing Off", "The West Wing", and "Glee". Their iconic "The Whiffenpoof Song" was listed by folk legend and Nobel prize winner Bob Dylan as one of the most culturally significant songs of 20th-century America, and has been covered by the likes of Bing Crosby, Rudy Vallée, and Elvis Presley.
