Nicholas Christakis, bestselling author, social scientist, and physician at Yale University, will talk about his new book, Apollo's Arrow: The Profound and Enduring Impact of Coronavirus on the Way We Live. In this book, he offers a cogent, deeply informative overview of the coronavirus pandemic, taking into consideration the biology of the pathogen and the social, economic, psychological, and political impacts of the virus on society.

    Nicholas Christakis is a physician and sociologist who explores the ancient origins and modern implications of human nature. He directs the Human Nature Lab at Yale University, where he is Sterling Professor of Social and Natural Science in the Departments of Sociology, Medicine, Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, Biomedical Engineering, and the School of Management. He is the Co-Director of the Yale Institute for Network Science, the co-author of Connected, and the author of Blueprint. His newest book, Apollo's Arrow: The Profound and Enduring Impact of Coronavirus on the Way We Live, was recently published in October 2020.​
