Event Details

Join Edward A. Snyder (Ted), former Dean of the Yale School of Management and Professor of Economics and Management, and Logan Bender '19, technology investor, for a glimpse into the Yale SOM classroom.

At the event on April 24, they will discuss what's behind disappointing performance of top U.S. tech stocks, also known as the Magnificent Seven, after unprecedented growth in the past few years. They'll also explore rising threats from outside the 'Mag Seven,' like AI-driven search tools and open-source language models that could disrupt Big Tech's turf. This session marks the launch of Ted and Logan's Briefings on High-Tech Industries, a series of free public events inspired by their popular elective, Economic Analysis of High-Tech Industries, where they offer timely insights into key developments in the tech sector.
