    Vishwa Deep Dixit is the Waldemar Von Zedtwitz Professor of Pathology and Professor of Immunobiology at Yale School of Medicine. He also directs Yale Center for Reserarch on Aging (Y-Age). Dixit lab studies immunometabolism and aging. His team helps establish NLRP3 inflammasome in causing ‘inflammaging’ and immunosenescence that leads to age-related chronic diseases including metabolic dysfunction. He has received many awards and honors, including Nathan W. Shock Award from National Institute on Aging, Vincent Cristofalo Lecture on Gerontology from Wistar Institute, and the Glenn Award for Aging Research.
