Ambassador Kurt Tong is a leading expert in East Asian diplomacy and economic affairs, with 30 years of experience as Ambassador for Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC), Consul General and Chief of Mission in Hong Kong and Macau, among other key roles. He holds a B.A. from Princeton University and is currently an Adjunct Professor of Asian Studies at Georgetown University.
