Event Details
While the public's aesthetic sensibilities and attention are increasingly consumed by popular culture and classical music has gradually carried the stereotype of being "serious and profound" and "inaccessible" to younger generations, the classical music violin duo TwoSet Violin has undoubtedly become a remarkable success story within the classical music community. Since 2014, they have been producing engaging videos that combine classical music performances with collaborations involving various musicians, introducing a variety of classical music works to the public and inspiring a large number of young people to develop a genuine interest in the world of classical music.
On June 17th, Shawn Moore, Founder of YF Studio, and Hui Zhang, Founder of Scale Up Music Society, will co-host TwoSet Violin at Yale Center Beijing for a discussion on "Bridging the Worlds of Classical Music and Social Media" in the contemporary era.
