The first edition of the town hall meeting will be focused on globalization and China’s “Belt & Road” initiative. With the rising trend of de-globalization and trade protectionism, how will “Belt & Road” help promote regional connectivity? And will it help ease geopolitical anxiety in the region?

    YANG Rui, often called the " Larry King of China", is the host of Dialogue with Yang Rui. He interviews people influencing and implementing global policy and unravels the threads which link global issues. Mr. Yang is the author of Who Misunderstand China, Swordsman VS Anchor and Highlights of Dialogue. He holds an MA from Cardiff College and a BA from Shanghai International Studies University.
