    Low Strung

Founded in 2006 by “orchestra dropouts,” Low Strung is a group of 12 undergraduate cellists from Yale University that performs pop and rock classics solely on the cello. Since its inception, this unique ensemble has built an international reputation, with past tours in Canada, Germany, Thailand, and now a return to China. Though the group has toured internationally and recorded three professional albums, each member’s academic interests extend far beyond music, with none of them majoring in it.
